Tang Zhouping, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Tongji Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Secretary of the Party Committee of the Second Clinical College, Executive Deputy Director of the International Medical Center of HUST, and Deputy Director of the National Medical Center for Major Public Health Events.

He is an M.D., Ph.D., second-tier professor, chief physician, doctoral supervisor. He is engaged in clinical, research and teaching of Neurology.

He is also the director of the Chinese Stroke Association, the chairman of the Minimally Invasive Treatment of Cerebral Hemorrhage Branch of the Chinese Stroke Association, the vice-chairman of the Neuroprosthetics Specialized Committee of the Chinese Physicians Association, and the vice-chairman of the Neurology Branch of the Wuhan Medical Association. He presides 7 key projects and general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. As the first author, he won the first prize of Hubei Science and Technology Progress Award in 2019. He has published more than 300 papers, of which over 90 being SCI papers. He is the chief editor of Emergency Neurology, and the associate editor of Minimally Invasive Therapy of Hypertensive Intracerebral Hemorrhage, Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment of Neurological Diseases (3^rd Version). He also serves as Executive Editor of the journal Brain hemorrhages.
