LIU Zheng, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

He is a member of CPC, M.D, Ph.D., second-tier professor, chief physician, doctoral supervisor. He is one of the recipients for the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. 

He is currently the Chairman of Allergy Branch of Hubei Medical Association, the Vice Chairman (Chairman-designate) of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Branch of Hubei Medical Association, a Committee Member of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Branch of Chinese Medical Association, Standing Committee Member of Otorhinolaryngology Branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Standing Committee Member of Allergy Branch of Chinese Medical Association. He is also the associate editor of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (9th Edition) (a five-year undergraduate clinical medical planning textbook for national colleges and universities), the chief editor of "Skin and Sensory System Diseases” a national textbook for medical students, the deputy editor-in-chief of "Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery" a textbook for standardized resident training program. He is also an associate editor of Clinical and Experimental Allergy, an editorial board member of Allergy and International Archives of Allergy and Immunology.

He has been engaged in the clinical, scientific research and teaching of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of common diseases, frequently-occurring diseases, acute/critical/severe diseases and intractable diseases. He has accomplished attainments in the study of individualized treatment and pathogenesis of endoscopic nasal surgery, rhinitis and sinusitis. He chaired a number of key projects under National Natural Science Foundation of China. He holds China Youth Science and Technology Award, and wins one First and Second Prize in Hubei Natural Science Award respectively.
