Vice President
Zhu Wei is a member of the CPC Standing Committee and Vice President of Tongji Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
He is a CPC member, Doctor of Medicine, Chief Physician of the Department of Emergency-Critical Care Medicine, and Doctoral Supervisor. He is also a Council Member of China Hospital Association, the chairman of Critical Care Medicine Committee of Hubei Pathophysiology Society, the vice chairman of Critical Care Medicine Branch of Hubei Medical Association, the executive director of Hubei Pathophysiology Society, the executive director of Hubei Biomedical Engineering Society, and the executive director of Outpatient and Emergency Management Committee of Hubei Hospital Management Association.
He has been engaged in basic and clinical research on sepsis and related organ failure for a long time, and was a postdoctoral fellow at School of Medicine of the Johns Hopkins University in the United States. He has presided over and participated in more than ten research projects at various levels, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Hubei Provincial Key Research and Development Program. He has presided over eight Hubei university educational reform projects. He has published more than eighty papers in various journals. He was awarded the Third Prize of Teaching Achievements of Hubei Higher Education Institutions and the First Prize of Teaching Achievements of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
