He is a member of the Communist Party of China, M.D.,Chief Physician, Associate Professor, Master’s Supervisor. Currently ,he serves as the Committee Member of Gastrointestinal Stromal (GIST) Tumor Expert Commiittee, Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology (CSCO), Vice Chairperson of Colorectal & Anal Surgery Branch, Hubei Medical Association, Vice Chairperson of Gastric Cancer Committee, Hubei Anti-Cancer Association, Chairperson of Medical Records Quality Control Committee, Hubei Hospital Association and Vice Chairperson, Medical Quality & Safety Management Committee, Hubei Hospital Association.

He is specialized in the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, with expertise in surgical oncology for gastrointestinal malignancies, minimally invasive metabolic surgery(bariatric & diabetes treatment) and multidisciplinary management of GIST. He is the principal investigator for National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and Hubei Provincial Natural Science Foundation projects. He published over 10 SCI-indexed papers in peer-reviewed journals. He has been awarded as the Hubei Advanced Worker (2023) and First Prize, Hubei Natural Science Award (2004, ranked 6th contributor).
