The Journal of Integrated Chinese and Western medicine was first published in 2009. It was approved by the General Administration of press and publication of the people's Republic of China, in charge of the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China, and sponsored by Huazhong University of science and technology.

Huang Guangying, a famous professor and doctoral supervisor of Tongji Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of science and technology, is the editor of this journal. The editorial board is composed of several academicians and famous medical experts. It has columns of clinical treatises, experimental studies, reviews, special topics, ideas and methods, clinical experience, student garden, academic discussion, case report, literature review, etc.

The purpose of this journal is to report the new trends and progress of the research on the integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine at home and abroad, as well as the achievements in clinical, scientific research, prevention, teaching and other aspects of the integration of Chinese and Western medicine, explore new ideas and new methods in the Research of Integrated Chinese and Western medicine, and objectively reflect the progress and level of research in the field of Integrated Chinese and Western medicine from multiple perspectives.
