On April 14th, 2014, Mr. Philippe Vigouroux, President of Bordeaux University Hospital, Mr. Patrick Heissat, Chief Engineer of Bordeaux University Hospital, and Professor Vincent Dousset, the vice-president of Internatiaonl Relations of Bordeaux University and Director of Neuroimaging Department visited Tongji hospital, accompanied by the leaders from France Consulate to Wuhan. Vice-president Wei WANG, vice-president Jihong LIU and vice-president Jiagao LV received the foreign guests warmly.

On behalf of all the 6,000 staff  in Tongji, vice-president Wei WANG firstly extended our warmest welcome and gave a brief introduction on the current development to all the guests. President Vigouroux then expressed his heartfelt thanks to the hospitality of Tongji. In addition to the medical education and science and technology, the bilateral parties later held a preliminary discussion on Sino-France Medical Nursing Home program and both parties were looking forward to the future coopearation in this field.

After the meeting, the foreign guests visited wards of Orthopedics Department in the Surgery Building.
