On June 16th 2023, accompanied by Mr. ZHU Xiaobin, deputy director of Foreign Affairs Office of Hubei Provincial People's Government, the delegation of Consulates General in Wuhan visited Tongji Hospital. The delegation consisted of Mr. Jean-Yves ROUX, Consul General of Consulate General of the Republic of France in Wuhan, Mr. HA SUNGJU, Consul General of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Wuhan, Consul Martin Schwartz, the Administration Officer of the Consulate General of the United States of America in Wuhan and Consul Arvind Norris, the Commercial Consul of the Consulate General of the U.K. in Wuhan. Prof. TANG Jinhui, vice-President of Tongji Hospital, Ms. WANG Man, director of the International Exchanges Office, Prof. MI Tao, deputy director of the Integrated Medical Department, Ms. WANG Manting, deputy director of the International Medical Services Department attended the reception.

Deputy director ZHU Xiaobin firstly gave an introduction of the foreign guests. In order to create a high-quality "OVERSEAS" living environment, the Foreign Affairs Office of Hubei Provincial Government held the activity to invite the officials of the Consulates General in Wuhan to visit Tongji Hospital, which is the top-hospital concerning about the international medical service, so as to know more about the medical service for foreigners.

Vice-President TANG Jinhui extended an introduction of Tongji Hospital, especially the international exchanges achievements over the years to the delegation and he also hoped to establish exchanges and cooperation with the medical and health institutions abroad. He also said that Tongji Hospital would continue to provide high-quality medical service for foreigners in Wuhan. Afterwords, Ms. WANG Manting from International Medical Service Department gave an introduction of international exchanges service of Tongji Hospital especially the out-patients and in-patients admission process.

The delegation later visited International Medical Services Department and also gave their remarks that although they were just in Wuhan for a short time, they have already heard about Tongji Hospital and hoped to take this opportunity to promote further medical cooperation.
